Welcome to Churchyards research, this site has come about following a posting we visited in 2007 on the Genes Reunited site, I was finding it difficult to locate someone who could visit a churchyard to research gravestones.
It occurred to us that a free site where people could offer to either research gravestones and possible also take photographs of those gravestones could be a help to many people.
If you would like to volunteer to help others (and especially if others have helped you) and have a reasonable camera to take pictures and would like to become a volunteer then click here .
All emails addresses are kept private - requests for your help are emailed from the website, and only when you decide to email back to a person requesting help, can they see your email address.
